A Happy Ghazal.
Sorrow hasn't the nerve to show its face to me
the poor thing doesn't know what remedy to find.
To conquer our book and its binding
it went out the window and climbed over the roof.
In our firewood the fire of its frenzy does not catch
the smoke and fumes of sorrow steal away its own breath.
Do you know what becomes of sorrow in the pavilion of my heart?
It turns into a flame itself and enters my heart joyful.
Let the thousands of sorrows of the world come again
your sun in me will not turn to bruised blue...

Woman
