Longing!

O God, O Nature, O Being, O holy name in all broken hearts: see my tears of blood: O you who made the grasses grow on my soil, O you whose loving clouds adorned my grasses with dew, O you on whose meadows my newborns took their first step: see my tears of blood: destroy the hidden mines, destroy the weapons of death, destroy the hatred in the hearts of my newborns. Tell all your kind clouds to wash with the tears of the dew the devilish grudges from my children’s faces: across the whole earth. Sing into my children’s ears, cry out, and forbid it: Brother! We are one heart: the heart of a mother! Don’t shoot! O holy name! I weep blood like rain upon rain. I have collapsed. Is this what you wanted!
